After a brief hiatus, your boy is back in full effect. I love international breaks, said no one ever. Outside of the mouth-watering games, we miss out on, there is a constant reminder that 30% of your squad could be injured which leaves you scrabbling, taking hits just to fix your team because the Belgian coach decided to play De Bruyne 95mins against Mordovia or some other obscure country.
In addition to our weekly recap, I will like to focus on which Liverpool player stands out. If your life depended on having a Liverpool player on your team, who would you pick?. Life is full of choices, from trivia things such as “what Netflix show to binge watch” to more life altering choice such as “who to spend the rest of life with” or even more important than that “which Liverpool player to captain”
In behavioral economics, there is a cognitive process called overchoice or choice overload which means that people have a difficult time making a decision when faced with many options. It is often said that geniuses like Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg limit their clothing options to one or two outfits to reduce choice overload. Since I’m not a genius, my wardrobe is stacked, and I spend on average 5mins every morning deciding which belt to match with my loafers. I hope this article can help reduce your EPL fantasy related choice over load, but first weekly re-cap.

- Metric: Expected Goals ( colored by actual goals)
- Winner : Salah (2.54) , Firmino (1.79) and Mane (0.59)
- Summary: Salah took the lead in three categories with Firmino coming second and Mane falling in last. Player’s cost should also be factored in the equation. Salah (12.5) / Mane (11.50) and Firmino (9.5). The current underlying stats suggests that Salah is the MUST HAVE Liverpool player even with his high price tag, while for $2 more I can’t justify the extra money for Mane over Firmino (but it’s your call not mine). Hope you find this helpful, please suggest topics for next week.
