So here we are. 2021, already feeling like 2020 on some level. In the world of FPL just like in the real world, confusion is reigning. Matches are being called off after gameweeks have already resumed. FPL managers are now having to pay more attention to who they have on their bench. Blank gameweeks are suddenly not as blank as they previously were. Best laid plans are getting scattered amidst postponements and swapping of fixtures. Some FPL managers have coped very well with all of these. While for many, it is a rendition of ‘confusion break bone’.
In the month of December, there was rejoicing and merriment for some of the managers in our various leagues. They excelled in their decision making, channeling the wisdom of the 3 wise men. At the end of all the fun times of the Christmas period, Buchi Zaza did the tin and did the tin successfully like TinTin. (His team name originates from the TinTin comics *nudge nudge, wink wink*). ‘Blistering Barnacles’ did blister their way to 400 points in League 2B and Buchi is our Manager of the Month. Congratulations to him. He wins a free month subscription for The Athletic.
