It has not been a great time for Manchester City fans and Chelsea fans in recent times. They have both been beaten back and blue over the past week and have looked as glum as the lads in the picture above.
Here is a round-up of the best and most hilarious trolls of the last few days dedicated mostly to the Blues of Manchester and the Blues of London. Enjoy!!
”Oh na na, what’s my name, Oh na na, what’s my name?”.. Well, the person on the right is definitely a counterfeit Rihanna. Sammy certainly isn’t kidding about how unrecognisable the Premier League defending champions have been this season.
Saint Elmo isn’t sinning by sharing with us this glorious picture of Pep suffering the after-shock of one of Liverpool’s goals in the first leg at Anfield. Zombified Pep looks like he would fit right into the Walking Dead TV show.
Antonio Conte has done a fair bit of sulking this season. His regenerated hair is still intact but his passionate celebrations have diminished in intensity as he takes Chelsea to an unwanted destination. Uche Obi manages to throw a Wenger-sized punch-line into the mix. Why troll one, when you can troll two?
Chuky shows his charitable nature by sharing this heart-felt appeal. Nope, he definitely isn’t gloating about Manchester United’s comeback win at the Etihad Stadium. The City fans crying after that game definitely need a slap hug. It really must be excruciating needing to wait a couple extra weeks to win the league title.
Chelsea vs Spurs. An unbeaten home record in the league dating back 28 years. And then a Dele Alli goal happens and elicits the type of responses seen above. For those who don’t know what shepe is, erm, let’s just say it is an alternative to tea. It’s basically a ”beverage” which doesn’t need milk and sugar. *For more details, ask Google or Deji Fagbola*
The internet can be a glorious place. These men were pictured at an entirely different location in a different continent, waiting to play their talking-drums. Little did they know they would be incorporated into a troll on Manchester City sometime much later. Solo called and we answered by including this in our edition of Trolls of the Week.
This one is not a Peter Pan thing. Rather it is one in which Peter is dead-panned as he praises Chelsea for drawing against the harmful West Ham. Chelsea are slowly but surely on their way to Europa Neverland in season 2017/18.
After a not so sterling performance against Manchester United, Raheem rightly received a lot of fan-mail and attention for his impressive catalogue of misses. Uche shares this one from Trevor Noah, a comedian and host of the Daily Show. Good to see that Noah has other material apart from his regular Trump jokes.
Sterling was not alone in the ”seriously bad misses” category in recent days. Benteke, another former Liverpool player, bent people over with laughter at his off-target efforts for Crystal Palace. This led to Ryan’s questions above and the hilarious responses underneath.
Jola is basically saying, ”Count your blessings, name them one by one”.. or six by six, if you are an Arsenal fan.
Put on some Blues music, keep the creativity going and keep the humour alive. Thank you and goodbye.
Oladimeji Sapoloso.
