Welcome to extraordinary footie fans
We had Yemi and Idris join Ayo to discuss the bore-fest at Old Trafford, the EPL dark horses, and also hand out our weekly “egg on the face & kudos for the week” awards
Now that we’ve got the first look having seen five rounds of EPL games and also the close of the summer transfer window, The FootieFantasy team got together and revisited the Top 6 predictions and relegation candidates
Ayo
Winner – Man City: In line with my earlier prediction, I’m still sticking with City but this is only because of the VVD injury and seeing Aguero return earlier than planned. 85 – 90 points should win the league
2nd – Liverpool: The season-ending injury of VVD + loss of Alisson has changed the trajectory of the well-oiled Klopp machine. They should still push City close but will drop more points than expected due to chink in their armor
3rd – Spurs: My new entrant to the top 4 is Tottenham who made very good signings in Reguillon, Hjolberg, Bale, and Vinicius. Bale will be a massive lift, Ndombele is playing good, and Jose now plays 2 attacking full-backs
4th – Chelsea: In this chaotic season of a lot of goals, the depth and quality of Chelsea attacking options should help them over the line despite early goalkeeping and defending struggles
5th – Arsenal, 6th – Manchester United
Relegation Candidates – Fulham, Burnley, West Brom
Ola
1st – Man City
2nd – Spurs

In another wild weekend of results were Man United and Liverpool was literally in 6’s & 7’s as they both got humiliated by Spurs and A.Villa. We had Spurs fan Onochie join Chuky and Ayo to breakdown the game at OT
Ovie joined Ayo and The Zaza to discuss the humbling of Arsenal at Anfield despite a valiant effort. We discussed the wild ending of the game between the seagulls and Man United, Chelsea still continue their habit of leaking goals and the destruction of Pep’s Man City by the evergreen and ageless Jamie Vardy.
