FPL Review – A Season Like No Other
Mama, we made it!! FPL Season 2020/21 was quite frankly, bonkers. Postponed matches all over the place. Games on, and then games off. Teams having 2 or 3 games in hand and FPL managers trying to figure out in advance which gameweeks the extra games would be squeezed into. Double gameweeks and eventually a triple gameweek. Players fit and ready when the gameweek starts, suddenly unavailable due to negative covid tests. Goals going in and then getting disallowed. VAR giveth, VAR taketh. Celebrate your FPL points too early at your own peril. Best laid plans getting ruffled up and tossed out the bedroom window. It was tough, it was rough but we made it through and we now all see each other because we’ve gotten there, Coolio style 🙂
UCL Brackets and Banter!!
We had a full house which included City Fan – Yannikca, Liv fan – Ola, Chelsea fan – Idris, Bayern fan – Dayo, and Ayo hosting as we did a full UCL bracket from the q-finals till the final. It was all fun and games and there is even a grand prize for the winner.
FPL Update – The Royal Rumble
The month of March started with a Royal Rumble. Harry and Meghan came out swinging. Verbal punches were thrown, accusatory body-slams were undertaken and relationships were thrown out of the ring. It was a brutal attack but the monarchy is still standing. Like the monarchy, many FPL managers went through the months of January and February fighting a royal rumble. The ones who excelled at strategizing sat comfortably on the throne even after the difficult times. While the FPL managers who couldn’t adapt got jabbed, head-locked and dragged into relegation battles or got flung out of title races.
North London is RED!!!
Host Eejay combined forces with fellow Gooner – Steve as they went full force on the debate with Spurs fan – Stephen. They discussed the fallout of the North London Derby, Arteta V Jose – Which Manager will be more successful.

Our resident City fan Yannicka and new guest Charles joined us and we discussed the Manchester Derby and we all picked an ALL-STAR draft team to win the EPL 21/22. Please rate our teams and let us know which teams can win the league?
The City Train keeps moving along & EPL Wishlist
It was a mini Arsenal take-over as new guest and Gooner – Ray along with Samuel both joined regular Man City guest Yannicka and host Ayo to discuss the training match between City and Arsenal, had a chat about expectations for both clubs at the end of the season, and did a player wishlist.
Pep leaves Jose in his rear window view!!
Yannicka joined us as she celebrated another win versus another top 4 contenders as Pep put down another marker versus Jose. Stephen joined us also to discuss his disappointment with Jose way and Dayo talks about Bayern and the UCL fixtures and predictions.
Pep ends Klopp’s title challenge!!
Yannicka from Sarcasm City joined us and she was super excited because Gundogan and Foden and the rest of the Man City bandwagon blitzed Liverpool at Anfield and ended Liverpool title defense. We also did a combined 11 among all for City and Liverpool and handed out weekly awards
Man United still can’t score against Arteta!!!
Arsenal fans – Eejay and Titi faced off against Manchester United fans The Zaza and Itata. They reviewed the game at the Emirates, The title race, and outsiders for the top 4. They ended with handing out weekly awards
